Beach and Oil Refineries

Participants in our discussion groups responded to images that portrayed a contrast of some kind, and the contrast in this image is twofold: between the vibrant colours of the 'beach' and the metallic greys of the oil refinery – and between the polluting chimneys and a tropical beach holiday scene that many people aspire to. This image tells a compelling multilayered story.
