Grapes and Drought
These abnormally small grapes illustrate a climate impact on a major industry and a product that many people hold dear: wine. Our research suggests that 'connecting' with people in this way, so long as the impacts are not trivial, can be a powerful form of communication.

WHAT IT SHOWS : French wine maker Julien Guillot shows detail of grapes in his vineyard suffering from the lack of rain. If temperatures increase beyond 2°C, France will be faced with a runaway geographical displacement of both its natural and cultivated ecosystems, and the effects on the sustainability of wine production will be catastrophic for the local industry.
