Our research found that images showing people pro-actively engaging with sustainable practices (rather than simply being pictured near to low-carbon technologies) were well received.
WHAT IT SHOWS: Mforo, Tanzania, a village near Moshi, Tanzania. Solar Sister entrepreneurs meet together at Fatma Mziray’s home to go over business and share ideas. They enjoy being together and they all feel like it helps them to learn from each other and try new methods of selling and marketing. They have all become close friends because of the group. They agree that if women work together it is easier to get opportunities and grow their business.
