Images like these – which shows 'common sense' solutions of insulting a building – are likely to appeal across the political spectrum. They may even be more popular on the Right than the Left.

This home is part of the Department of Energy's (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program that supports energy efficiency upgrades to low-income homes in Denver. In addition, the DOE Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program supports development of National Residential Retrofit Guidelines that will improve worker training and workforce development for weatherization and home improvement workers and enable these industries to increase the value of their services to homeowners.
